Description

Emerald RT is a experience that follows the original storyline while introducing a unique gameplay twist. In every trainer battle, a set of random battle rules is applied. Breaking any of these rules results in penalties such as HP reduction, encouraging players to stay alert and adapt their strategies in real time.

The core feature of the game is the Battle Rule System. Some rules modify the battlefield itself, such as permanent Trick Room, inverse battle conditions, Truant-like effects, or Perish Count mechanics. Other rules are hidden and only become clear through their effects, requiring players to carefully observe and adjust their actions during battle.

The experience is also designed with Nuzlocke-style play in mind, offering an integrated challenge mode that includes permadeath, no in-battle bag access, duplicate encounter prevention, met-location tracking, automatic encounter validation, and several quality-of-life improvements that reduce grinding while maintaining a high level of difficulty and strategic depth.
