• Double Battles! (triple battles are scheduled since Essentials v18, but given the lower resolution screen, it's impossible to make triple battles look "visually enjoyable").

• Sound Effects Resources and many GSC musical themes to further recreate the essence of 2nd Generation games.
• Removed unused content which was not in the GSC games and is not useful for most Fangames: Brands and Contest Ribbons.
• Other improvements and extra things: Head Strike trees can now be defined using a terrain tag, PBS data is already prepared to work with the screen resolution (objects, skills and movement description); You can now see the effects of movements on the Summary Screen by pressing the Z button; pokedex Search now follows GSC style (by type only); Pokédex entries now support Pokémon descriptions of any size...
