Description
A continuation of Emerald Kaizo.
Pokemon Platinum Kaizo is a difficulty-focused enhancement hack of Pokémon Platinum, created by SinisterHoodedFigure, the developer behind Pokémon Emerald Kaizo. This version dramatically increases the game’s challenge, making it ideal for hardcore players and Nuzlockers.
Widely regarded as one of the hardest Generation 4 hacks, Platinum Kaizo offers extensive replayability and demands careful strategy and team-building. It is not intended for casual play, this is a brutal experience designed to push players to their limits. If you’re looking for an intense challenge that tests every aspect of your gameplay, this is the game for you.

How Level Caps Work
Platinum Kaizo uses soft level caps. The game does not stop your Pokémon from leveling past the cap, but Gym Leaders and Barry will refuse to battle if any Pokémon in your party exceeds the current limit.
Because of this, you’ll need to carefully manage EXP to avoid accidentally overleveling.
Special Rule for Barry Fights
Barry #3 and Barry #5 have slightly different rules:
The level caps only apply to the Barry fights themselves
For Hardcore Nuzlocke runs, you may use Pokémon above Barry’s cap in battles before him
However, this does not apply to Gym Leaders.
If you bring an overleveled Pokémon into any battle before a Gym Leader, it is considered a wipe, as usual.
