Description
Pokemon Roaring Red is a rebalanced Fire Red hack with all 386 catchable Pokemon, modern mechanics, tougher battles, and expanded Sevii postgame.
This update introduces a separate Challenge Mode patch, designed to replace the standard patch. The difficulty is closer to a full difficulty hack. Here’s what to expect:

- Experience Shares purchasable alongside Rare Candies in Viridian Cities Pokemart for people who want to grind.
- Legendary Guardian minibosses blocking all legendaries obtainable before the Elite 4, without sequence breaking.

- Fixed several fence clipping and walking issues.
- Updated a handful of Pokémon:
- Yanma is now Bug/Dragon with stat buffs.
- Piloswine gains Thick Fat as a second ability.
- Jynx’s BST raised to match Electabuzz and Magmar.
- Masquerain now learns Surf.
- Beautifly changed to Bug/Fairy.
- Grass encounters added to Pallet Town, unlocked after obtaining Cut.
- Repel prices reduced:
- Repel → 50
- Super Repel → 150
- Max Repel → 300
- Added an extra Move Deleter in Celadon City, sitting with the lady who gives you tea for Saffron.
- Replaced the Farfetch’d trade with a Volbeat → Kecleon trade.
- Removed Cinnabar Island’s grass encounters (causing freezes) — they’ve been moved inside the Pokémon Lab testing room.
- Cinnabar Island encounter table updated.
- Removed a cut tree north of Route 15 that caused entity-swapping glitches on Route 14.
- Added a signpost to the Lavender Town Berry Shop.Champion’s team and Game Corner Giovanni battle rebalanced.
- Fixed the persistent background issue (finally!).

- All 386 Pokemon are catchable, including every Legendary.
- Physical/Special Split and Fairy Type have been added for a modernized battle experience.
- Every major boss battle has been redesigned with Pokémon from all generations, improved team diversity, and a higher difficulty curve.
- Each Pokémon now has a curated moveset, with many receiving stat buffs, ability changes, and type adjustments — no fully evolved Pokémon has under 430 BST.
- All areas feature rebalanced encounter tables, with new wild encounters added where none existed before.
- Expanded postgame on the Sevii Islands, including new boss fights and Gym Leader rematches on Seven Island.
- Dozens of new and rebalanced moves, with many introduced from later generations.
- View EVs, IVs, Happiness, and Hidden Power types directly from the summary screen.
- Healing items and berries have been reworked for greater strategic value at all stages.
- Shiny rate increased to 1/1000 for better odds of finding rare Pokémon.
- Updated overworld map, Pokémon sprites, and custom trainer sprites for key boss battles.
