Description

This creative fan project is a crossover that reimagines familiar platforming-inspired characters as collectible creatures in a Pokémon-style gameplay system. Players encounter and battle with these characters, each featuring unique stats, types, and abilities, while exploring quirky, remixed regions filled with unpredictable encounters.

The experience turns a traditional journey into a playful goal of becoming a master collector and strategist, blending nostalgia, humor, and tactical turn-based combat.

It is important to note that this is a fan-made passion project developed by a dedicated team of creators. With support from Alpharad’s sponsorship, Kobazo and the development team were able to bring their imaginative concept to life.

Game Progress

Super MarioMon replaces traditional platforming with chaotic turn-based strategy, where characters become battlers with unique stats, types, and abilities.

Players traverse nostalgic-inspired worlds while focusing on tactical combat—planning moves, exploiting type matchups, and combining unpredictable item effects. The result is a strategy-heavy experience where randomness, creative mechanics, and decision-making all interact, making every battle feel dynamic and unpredictable.

Note WHEN UPDATING MARIOMON, IF YOU ARE IN WORLD 5 WITH CAPTAIN TOAD FOLLOWING YOU, ALWAYS ASK HIM TO "GO SOLO" FIRST BEFORE SAVING AND UPATING YOUR GAME.

  • You can no longer bring Bullet Bills to Cloud Cap

  • Fixed a bug that would make the back half of your party be overwritten by Luigi's if you lost to or ran away from the Giga Bowser fight
