Pokemon Burning Scales is a fan game that focuses on the exploration of a small open world and its story.
You'll encounter dozens of characters who will provide interesting interactions, impactful battles,
funny moments, and, most importantly, numerous side quests.

Story

The game’s story unfolds at a noticeably different pace compared to the series’ usual format. Instead of journeying across the entire Unova region, you’ll explore a smaller, more focused map filled with interactions and side quests. You can take your time to thoroughly explore each area and engage with characters, or move quickly by following the main quest.

You play as Nathan, an experienced trainer assisting Professors Oak and Juniper in researching a mysterious new form of Pokémon. Their investigation soon takes a dangerous turn when a powerful and unknown Pokémon begins causing chaos across southern Unova. It becomes your responsibility to uncover the source of this disturbance and solve the mystery behind these unusual Pokémon forms.
