Hello there, I am Akash aka ASG/AstartGaming. This is my very first attempt at making a Pokémon ROM hack. I had a ton of help from my big brother every step of the way, so I like to think of Pokémon Kanto Eternal as our co-project.

Game Progress

Embark on an eternal journey through the classic Kanto region & Sevii Isle in Pokémon Kanto Eternal, a custom project of Pokemon FR. This project reimagines the entire FR Saga with modern enhancements, vast Pokémon variety, and quality-of-life features, all while preserving the nostalgic vanilla difficulty that made the originals timeless.

    I just came across this hack and I have to say, I love the way it looks! I always found the maps in Fire Red to be very boring to look at, and this looks like a beautiful reimagining. Do you plan on making a post for this game on say, PokeCommunity? That could help get more eyes on it! Anyway great work, I'd love to give it a try when I have the time

    You call it vanilla difficulty, but you gave Brock a Tyrunt with Psychic Fangs. I grinded for ages and I am STILL getting wiped by his team. I wouldn't call that vanilla at all!

    I'm not able to get the MediaFire download to work? Any tips on this? I see there's another way to download but I'm not able to follow the patching instructions. For me it downloads with different files than the ones listed in the tutorial...

      the thing is, I haven't set the shiny rate yet so it the default from vanilla.

      Ah thanks, I just caught a flapple off the bike path. Great game so far! I’m currently at Blaine and I’d say the gym leaders have been a really fun challenge.
      Is there any place to report bugs btw?
