Description

Pokemon Duality takes place in the newly created region of Lumina, where an ancient struggle between light and darkness shaped the world. In a time long before modern civilization, Giratina sought to spread chaos from the Distortion World, twisting both Pokémon and humans in the process.

To stop this, Arceus battled Giratina and sealed its power within seven Shadow Orbs hidden across Lumina. Over centuries, this conflict faded into legend, remembered only through writings left behind by monks in old ruins.

In the present day, Thorne, leader of Team Obsidian, uncovers forbidden texts and begins searching for the Shadow Orbs. Convinced that Giratina represents true freedom rather than chaos, he seeks to challenge Arceus’s influence and remake the world in his own vision.

Game Progress

Two Stories, Two Paths

Pokemon Duality offers two distinct campaigns that drastically change how the story unfolds.

Hero Story follows a traditional Pokémon adventure, where the player defends Lumina, battles Team Obsidian, protects legendary Pokémon, and works to preserve balance.

Dark Story instead lets the player align with Team Obsidian, pursuing their own ambitions and reshaping the region. This route explores moral choices and allows the player to experience the conflict from the opposing perspective.
